World Improvement Number – Terms and Conditions of Use
We, at World Improvement Number Inc., have set up a system to allow people to share good news stories and contribute to improving our world together. We respect that people have differing opinions on exactly what that might mean. Our definition of positive actions is very broad and means that these are actions that help to improve our world in some form however large or small. This does not include any actions that may create negative impact on another person, animal or the environment no matter how justifiable it may seem. We respect the opinions of others and are not aligned with any political or religious groups. We have endeavored to define “positive actions” and are open to suggestions from the membership on improving that definition. We are always open to new ideas.
Our Commitment: We will do our best to keep World Improvement Number safe for all members although unfortunately we cannot guarantee it. We have organized a series of principles that we adhere to and expect our members to adhere to.
They are as follows:
Private: We believe that personal privacy is a fundamental component of any online social environment and that members have choices on how they would like their information shared. Your privacy is very important to us and we have endeavored to provide you with tools and methods to ensure that privacy and still participate in the World Improvement Number global community . We designed our
Privacy Policy to share information with you on how you can World Improvement Number to share
World Improvement Actions with others and how we collect and can use your content and information. We encourage you to read the Privacy Policy, and to use so that you can make informed decisions.
Secure: We have used the latest technology available to us to ensure that your information is safe and secure and cannot be accessed without your specific permission. If you believe that there has been any breach in that security or would like to share information on improved methods please share that with
us here.
Fair: We believe strongly that we live in a global community and everyone is equal. We also believe that everyone is entitled to their opinions and will endeavor to always create a fair environment. We are governed by laws that ensure that people are treated with respect and we fully support that philosophy. We reserve the right to remove any content that may infringe on our philosophy of fairness and/or be in conflict of any applicable laws and/or infringe on the members code of conduct. If we remove your content for infringing on the Members Code of Conduct, and you believe that it should not be removed you have the right to appeal the decision. Any member who infringes on the Members Code of Conduct will have their membership disabled permanently.
The Members Code of Conduct
The following activities will be deemed to be in violation of World Improvement Number's Members Code of Conduct and your membership will be disabled permanently.
While being an active member of World Improvement Number YOU WILL NOT:
- bully, intimidate, or harass any user.
- engage in unlawful multi-level marketing
- offer any contest, giveaway, or sweepstakes ("promotion") without our prior written consent.
- post content or take any action on World Improvement Number that infringes or violates someone else's rights or otherwise violates the law.
- post content that: is hateful, threatening, or pornographic; incites violence; or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.
- send or post unauthorized commercial communications (such as spam) on World Improvement Number.
- solicit login information or access an account belonging to someone else.
- upload viruses or other malicious code.
- use an automated means to collect member's content or information.
- use World Improvement Number to do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory.
- use our copyrights or trademarks without our written permission.
- provide any false personal information or create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission.
- create more than one personal profile.
- become a member of World Improvement Number if you are under 13 without being under a parent or guardian's supervision.
- share your password with someone else
- let anyone else access your account
- transfer your account (including any page or application you administer) to anyone without first getting our written permission.
- select a username for your account that may be misleading, infringe on a trademark or not be closely related to your actual name.

In fact, it is a part of our mission to give absolutely everyone the opportunity to share stories of positive action and if they choose …. to even become a world leader.

The Program:
Personal World Improvement Number: The WIN point tracking automatically calculates your personal "WIN" and shows you just how significant the ripple effect of a positive action or idea can be. You (as a user) would post your positive experience or idea onto the WIN site after signing up.
Positive stories and actions are divided into four easy categories –
- A positive action that you took for people, animals or the environment.
- A positive idea that you have learned about or thought up (for a full list view examples of positive actions).
- A positive action that someone else did for you.
- A positive action that you learned about whether that be by seeing it in person, seeing it on TV or the internet, reading about it or hearing about it from someone else.
How It Works:
Once your story is posted, you are immediately credited with a point. If you give others access to view your story your points will grow exponentially. Someone then reads your story and is inspired so they click on the inspired link underneath the story. You are then immediately credited with another point. Should another user be inspired by your story, they can click on inspired and you receive another point for each of them. Should you inspire any of those people to post a story and they inspire others, you receive a point for everyone that they inspire and everyone that they inspire and so on and so on.
The possibilities are endless. You could literally inspire thousands of people around the world with a single story. The system will track your total accumulated points, your year to date points and your month to date points. You can have fun competing with your friends in all sorts of ways.
You will be able to track the butterfly effect of your stories about how they have impacted friends, strangers, and communities far and wide.
